Yes — walk-ins are welcome at our table!

We'll do our best to take everything, but we can't guarantee it in the same way we can for pre-registered items.

No. The £12 garage sale is run directly by the Pre-school from individual driveways. We're a separate pop-up at the Pre-school site, for items better suited to being sold through Rekiddle rather than face-to-face.

We'll mark it as received and tag it so we know it's yours. Shortly after, our courier will come by to collect everything at the end of the day.

From there, we take it to our operational site where we inspect it for functionality, clean anything that requires a bit of extra love and have it photographed and listed for sale. It’s the same process as any item sold through Rekiddle.

No — it's entirely your choice. Selling with us for this event works the same as always: you'll get your usual payout once your item sells.

If you'd like to support Charlbury Pre-school instead, you can opt to have your payout sent directly to them at no extra cost to you. You can choose this option for all or some of your items. You'll see this option when you register your items.

Once your item sells, Rekiddle will process your earnings and remit the balance to you via our payment partner, Stripe, for a period of 14 days after order completion to account for our buyer return window.

A commission fee will be deducted to cover Rekiddle’s services and payment processing costs. Additional charges may apply based on item condition, processing or storage time. If any such fees are required, we’ll notify you in advance.

We'll let you know at drop-off, or in advance if you've registered beforehand. You're welcome to take it back with you, or to the garage sale itself.

If you’re not quite finished with your gear yet, no problems! You can sign-up to our reminder mailing list and we’ll send you a quick reminder email each month so you know where to find us when you are ready.

If you can’t make Sept 6th, still get in touch via our intake form and we’ll arrange with you directly for the next time we’re in the area.

Items on Rekiddle are priced above typical peer-to-peer marketplaces, reflecting the quality inspection, professional photography, and buyer protections that come with every listing.

After commission, sellers often earn a similar amount (sometimes slightly more, sometimes slightly less) than if they sold the item themselves, but without the hassle of listings, messaging or meet-ups. This trade-off is one reason many parents choose Rekiddle.

Our commission covers everything it takes to sell your gear properly, so you don't have to lift a finger after drop-off:

• Professional photography and listing creation
• Secure warehouse storage until your item sells
• Quality and functionality checks before anything goes live
• All buyer enquiries and customer support, handled by us
• Promotion to our growing community of families across the UK
• Packaging and delivery to the buyer

We accept preloved and open-box baby and kids gear that is genuine, safe and compliant with UK standards. Items must not be subject to an active recall, must be complete and in usable condition, and must have all safety tags attached.

We accept:

• activity gyms
• small baby and kids furniture
• baby carriers
• bath and potty
• bikes and scooters
• bouncers and swings
• bedside cribs, moses baskets, travel cots
• high chairs
• playmats
• prams, pushchairs, buggies
• toys above £35.

We don't accept:

• car seats
• electronics
• extra-large and bulky items.

Anyone bringing gear to the Charlbury Garage Sale on 6 September can sell with us. Drop by our table at the Pre-school on the day, or register in advance using the form above so we know to expect you.

You'll need to be 18 or older and the legal owner of the items you're selling. We can't accept stolen goods, counterfeits, faulty items, or anything still under a finance agreement.

Please ensure that all parts are complete, in working condition, and their safety tags are still attached.

If you have it, please also include the original packaging (box, bags, tags) and product manuals in the box.

If an item isn't cleaned beforehand, we'll charge a cleaning fee of £5–£25, deducted from your payout when it sells.

Every item is inspected and graded before being listed. As a seller, you’re still responsible for ensuring that the item is genuine, safe, compliant and fit for use.

We carefully inspect every item to ensure it is fully functional, clean and accurately described. If your item doesn’t meet our quality standards, we will contact you directly. You can choose to:

a) have the item returned to you (a small processing and delivery fee applies), or

b) donate to charity, or

c) dispose of safely (a small processing and delivery fee applies)

If a recall or safety notice is issued for your item (before or after listing), you must tell us immediately. We’ll remove it from sale and either return it or dispose of it safely. If we incur costs dealing with a recall, you may need to cover these.

Prices are set based on current market demand, comparable listings, and item condition - so your gear is priced to sell at fair value, not race to the bottom.

We regularly review prices to keep them aligned with demand, so the final sale price may vary slightly from the initial recommendation. If you have a minimum price in mind, you're welcome to share it and we'll factor that in.

Your payout structure is agreed upfront before anything is listed, so there are no surprises.

Payouts range from 40–70% of the sale price, depending on the item type, size, and handling involved. We'll always confirm your expected payout structure before we proceed. A Bugaboo Fox 5 in excellent condition, for example, typically lists at £650–£720 on Rekiddle — meaning a seller payout of £325–£360.

Most items sell within 35–40 days of being listed. If your item hasn't sold after one month, we may begin gradual price reductions of up to 10% every two weeks to help maximise your chances of a sale.

If it's still unsold after three months, we'll be in touch to discuss next steps — including further reductions, returning the item, or donating to charity.

Yes. Buyers have 14 days (from when they receive it) to return an item.

If that happens, we handle the return and keep you updated along the way.

• Making sure your items are safe, genuine, and legally yours to sell,
• Providing accurate details about the product,
• Covering any issues that arise from defects, safety problems, or recalls,
• Indemnifying Rekiddle if claims arise from your products.

We take reasonable care of all items in our possession. If we’re negligent and your item is lost or damaged, we’ll take responsibility. Otherwise, we’re not liable for general wear, storage risks, or transit damage beyond our control.

Our aim is always to sell your item at a fair price - balancing value and speed - so it can find a new home without the delays and back-and-forth of peer-to-peer selling.

Here’s how we handle pricing over time:

Initial listing

We list your item at our recommended price based on current market data, demand and item condition.

Ongoing price reviews

If an item hasn’t sold after one month, we may gradually reduce the price (typically by up to 10% every two weeks) to improve its chances of selling. This approach is designed to avoid long delays while still aiming for a fair outcome.

After three months

If an item hasn’t sold after three months, we may contact you to discuss next steps. These may include:

• a further price reduction to help clear the item
• returning the item to you (a small processing fee applies)
• donating the item to charity, with your permission

This process allows us to maximise the likelihood of a successful sale, while sparing you from pricing decisions or buyer negotiations.

Yes. Either you or Rekiddle can end the arrangement at any time by giving notice. Unsold items will be returned to you (a small process and delivery fee applies), or disposed of if uncollected within 28 days.
